There have been some rumours of bottom end failures and starting problems that have been found to have as a root cause failure of the oil pressure relief valve to close. This has led to a loss of oil pressure, with consequent lack of adequate lubrication and cooling, leading to over heating and possible engine seizures. I am still gathering information on this one, so if anyone has any more on this subject I'd like to hear from them. It doesn't appear to be at all common, but it has apparently happened, so confirmation of the cause and symptoms would definitely be helpful.
